I grew up in rural Queensland, surrounded by gemstones thanks to my father’s work as an opal miner and gemologist. That early mix of creativity, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit has shaped every chapter of my career.

Chasing adventure, I moved to London and built a 20-year career in marketing, working on high-profile global campaigns while completing a Master’s in Marketing Communications.

Back in Australia, I channelled that experience into my own venture, a sustainable luxury knitwear and jewellery brand that honoured my family heritage. Over seven years, I scaled it to a very successful business, built a loyal community, and ultimately sold it in 2024.

Along the way, I learned the truth behind growth: building a brand you love is one thing, building it while balancing family, energy, and life is another.
